No-Knead Homemade Artisan Bread



Ingredients

3 cups all purpose flour
2 teaspoons kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon active dry yeast
1 1/2 cups warm water (NOT hot)

Instructions

In a large bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and yeast. Make a "well" in the center and pour in 1 1/2 cups warm water. Mix just until combined with a spatula or wooden spoon. Don't worry about getting a really smooth dough. It's supposed to look a little messy. Cover with plastic wrap and set it aside for 12-24 hours._I usually make it the night before and let is stand overnight until I need it._
When ready to bake, preheat your oven to 450 degrees and set your dutch oven w/ lid inside to preheat as well.

Dump your dough unto a well floured surface and shape into a ball. Cover with plastic wrap and leave it alone for about 30 minutes while oven is preheating.
Remove dutch oven from the oven and carefully place your dough inside. Make 3 shallow cuts on top of dough for the "Artisan" look. Place lid back on and pop it in the oven for 30 minutes.

After 30 minutes, remove the lid and cook an additional 15 minutes so bread becomes golden brown on top.

Remove from oven and let it cool slightly before slicing into your fresh homemade bread and enjoying!
